Heeling. Nice to see it on video. I can see that a) she can do nice attention even with kids playing in the playground nearby. b) She can heel past that big yellow nerf ball and c) she is starting to crowd and forge a bit and d) it is my fault - need to reward away from my center.

September 2009 - inside training room

I am renting the training room at my club so i can begin teaching jumping (dumbell), targetting for utility exercises as well as being in a space that in the past had been frighening and overwhelming. She has great training endurance when there are no people or distractions around. She has lovely focus at this point and her gait comes natural with the eye contact. I am starting to video tape to work on my handling. This video has heeling in it, tricks (left, right, back) dumbell (we are still working on her coming front and sitting before i take it), jumps, go outs, recalls, and so forth. i will attempt another video where i set it up better : )
